The second “IAP-Day” of the SOCENT programme was hosted by the CIRTES (ULC) in Louvain-la-Neuve. It brought together more than 30 professors and researchers around various themes linked to social enterprise research:
- supply-side and entrepreneurship theories (with presentations by Mars Jegers, Frederic Dufays, and Florence Degavre and Magalie Saussey);
- governance theory (with presentations by Lore Wellens and Marc Jegers and by Benjamin Huybrechts, Sybille Mertens and Julie Rijpens) and methods (with a presentation by Marek Hudon);
- and employment and human resources management (with presentations by Roland Pepermans, Edwine Goldoni, Yannick Griep, Charlotte Moreau and Olivier Brolis).
Beside these presentations, whose diversity bore witness to the richness of interdisciplinarity, more informal sessions brought together PhD students, allowing them to exchange by disciplines (labour and social psychology; organisation studies and management; economics and finance; and development studies) around their thesis questions.
